Summerhill Visitor Centre, Hartlepool

Summerhill is a 100 acre site, with varying habitats for birds. There are hedgerows, some woodland, surrounded by farmland. There are some small bodies of water, although there is nothing too large here.

There is the feeding station, of course, which attracts birds such as Finches, Tits, Collared Doves, Tree Sparrows. Brambling are a winter visitor.

There are currently 99 birds on the 'Summerhill List', the best ones probably being  Crossbill, Siskin, Peregrine Falcon, Common Buzzard, plus 5 species of Owl.
