•  Summerhill Bird Club has now been added to the 'Teams and Clubs' section of the hugely popular website 'Friends Reunited'. If you are registered on there, why not add yourself to Summerhill Bird Club. Just click the 'Teams and Clubs' link, then do a search for Summerhill in the search box. (October 2006).

• Summerhill Country Park now has it's own website, which will be going live very soon. Please click here to visit the site. (October 2006).

• Kevin Spindloe, Our Club Chairman has just started up a website promoting his Bird Tours. These tours are a great way to see some wonderful birds and enjoy some lovely holidays. What could be better! His new website can be found here:  www.cygnusbirdtours.com (January 2007).

• The Hartlepool Mail will be present at the Summerhill Visitors Centre on Saturday January 27th at 11 a.m. to see people taking part in the Big Garden Birdwatch. 

• Roger White has agreed to take over as Club Chairman when Kevin Spindloe stands down in January. The Club would like to thank Kevin for all the hard work and effort he has put into the Club over the last 8 years. We wish him every success in the future.
