• 6th. Terek Sandpiper on the Calor Gas Pool. George, Chris and Philip Smith.
• 7th. We had a walk to Crimdon Beach to see the Little Terns. On the way we had a glimpse of a Jay as it flew over the road near to the toilet just after the viaduct. There were good numbers of House Martins, Linnets, Yellowhammers, Swallows and Goldfinch. A Ringed Plover was in the fenced off area with the numerous Little Terns. George, Chris and Philip Smith.
• 9th. We heard 2 Grasshopper Warblers and saw 1 at Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park, in a bush about 30 yards east of the bridge which is on the south side of the A1185. George Smith, Chris Smith, Philip Smith and Liam Robson.
