If you want help in identifying an unknown bird, please click here.

When asking for help identifying an unknown bird, please enter as much information as possible, such as:

• Size of bird (Sparrow sized, Blackbird sized, Gull sized, or larger).
• Where was it spotted (Woodland, Back Garden, Park, Seaside, Pond or Lake, etc).
• Colours.
• Was it calling, or making a noise.
• Any behaviour noted? (e.g. Hovering, soaring, diving, etc.).
• Any other relevant information.

It may take up to a week to provide a response, but we will do our best to help you identify your bird.
